The Jefferson County “Main Event” is an annual fundraiser to benefit The BackStoppers. Started in 2006, the event is hosted by the Jefferson County Labor Club and is an outdoor exhibition-boxing event featuring matches between police officers and firefighters. 

The 2007 event will be held on Saturday, June 2, in the City of Arnold on the Arnold City Park grounds off Jeffco Blvd. 

The successful 2006 “Main Event” boxing matches raised $22,800 for The BackStoppers. More importantly, the event gave the community an understanding of the support provided by The BackStoppers to families of our fallen heroes who gave their lives while protecting our families.

The event has 12 boxing matches including ceremonies prior to the boxing, with huge champions’ belts and trophies for the combatants.

General admission tickets can be purchased for as little as $20.00 at any local police, sheriff and fire departments.
